BR on their very nice and new 773ER's have about 33" in Y. Compares fairly favorably with Y+ on UA and much better than Y-.

Just did LAX-TPE and TPE-LAX a few months back.

It was reasonably comfortable in a nice, clean, new plane. It also had the seat sliding recline which seems to help.

Add to that the pretty awesome AVOD system and a 15hr flight went by pretty quickly.

Also, Chinese travel agencies in SoCA tend to have ridiculously discounted tickets on the asian airlines.
