TSA Testing Fingerprint Check-In System
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is now testing a program at two U.S. airports called biometric authentication technology (BAT) that uses fingerprint scanning instead of boarding passes to expedite the check-in procedure. Passengers Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) and Denver International Airport (DEN) who are enrolled in TSA Precheck can opt for the scans, as the process is voluntary.

I don't think you mean "check-in procedure". The airlines do check in, not TSA. I think you mean the process of identification at the security line. This is NOT Check-in.
Do they scribble on your fingers the way they scribble on your boarding pass???
