Fiji Airways Has Two-for-One Flights

Grab your swimsuit, flip-flops and a travel buddy! Fiji Airways is selling two-for-one flights from select U.S. cities to Fiji starting at just $1,099.

The airfare sale is available to travelers in Los Angeles, San Francisco or Honolulu who can fly to Nadi, the capital of Fiji, between Jan. 21 and March 31. If you crave sand and sunshine in an exotic destination, you might want to talk to your boss and ask for time off as soon as possible.

To nab these economy flights for as low as $550 per person, including all fees and taxes, make sure to book your trip by Jan. 19. The following departure days are available for the discount:

  • to / from Los Angeles: Monday to Thursday
  • to / from San Francisco: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday
  • to / from Honolulu: Sunday

As great as this deal sounds, it’s not available for online bookings. You have to call Fiji Airways at 1-800-227-4446 to book one of these two-for-one flight deals. Still, saving a chunk or change is worth spending some time on the phone.

If you hold a U.S. passport, you don’t need a visa for Fiji as long as your stay is 120 days or shorter. However, you might not want to leave once you discover the South Pacific’s nation’s beautiful beaches, world-class diving and sunsets.

And if you live in Australia, a similar deal is available to those departing Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide or Melbourne. You can fly to either Nadi or Suva starting at $999 AUD on select dates. Make sure to call 1-800-230-150 by Jan. 19 to book this trip with your friend, sibling or significant other. Australian citizens don’t require a visa for traveling to Fiji for up to 120 days, either.

Will you be booking a flight to Fiji as part of the Great Companion Getaway sale?

well it seems load factors in low season are not that good, so they have to try new deals to fill planes. Must be a lot of loss leader fares being sold. Guess it's better to lose $200/seat than $500/seat. Not that this is just a Fiji Air problem. All airlines seem to be having trouble filling seats in low season, much mroe so than in previous years. The recession is here now despite what any politician says.

Lol that you can't book online! Enjoyed their previous incarnation's epic 2-4-1 for $51! Probably took them this long to try again!

Suva is the capital of Fiji, not Nadi. Nad is where the main international airport and resorts are located. It is a 3-hour drive from Suva.

In fact they should ask customers not to make phone calls inside the lounge except in designated areas.
