In Brief: American Flight Lands on Nose After Landing Gear Malfunctions

American Airlines Flight 1825, operated by US Airways and en route from Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), made an emergency landing at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) Monday night after the aircraft’s front landing gear malfunctioned. The Embraer 190 landed with its nose on the runway, and the 52 passengers and four crew members onboard evacuated via emergency slides. According to a statement from American, one passenger was sent to the hospital, but their injuries are not believed to be serious.

Who wrote this? It was a US Airways flight. So what if is also sold as a AA codeshare? That's like reporting that an Iberia flight operated by British Airways... Until the airlines are merged, they are separate airlines.
