What do you drink on airplanes?

Just wondered if anyone had a quirk about what they drink (alcoholic or not on airplanes...)

I always, always, always get tomato juice to drink on a plane - regardless of length of flight, class of service etc. But the thing is - I never drink it on the ground. If I go 6 months without a flight, I go 6 months without tomato juice. But I don't think I've ever gotten on an airplane and not had tomato juice...

Anyhow, just wondered if anyone else had a quirk like that...

In the morning I always drink a bloody mary or coffee with Amarula (DL has it - not sure about any one else.) The rest of the time it's rum & diet - same as I always drink on the ground or at sea.

I like red wine. In fact, I prefer the red wine on many airlines to the white wine.

However, I have enough problems spilling red wine on my clothes when I'm sitting still. So I usually order white wine or a clear non-alcoholic drink when I'm on an airplane.

Depends what is available and which airline.
Can't go wrong with Vodka on the rocks.
Sometime Vodka and Cola though.

Otherwise Three Coins.
Or Cola.

Champagne, Gin Tonic, red wine, white wine, Bloody Mary, Drambuie, beer and whisky. Oh, and sometimes I have some water as well.

Actually if I'm going to keep to the original question I first started enjoying Bloody Marys on flights. I didn't like them when on the ground, but on a flight they tasted fine. Now I enjoy them wherever I am.

Usually Club Soda or Sparkling Water. I hate sweet drinks like Coke/Pepsi, and hate the sugar free crap even more. If early AM, black coffee. BUT, when I am coffee-ed out and it's too early for alcohol, I too drink tomato juice or bloody mary mix, and I NEVER drink these unless I'm flying. Why is that?

Otherwise, it's always Scotch and soda or on the rocks.

On short hauls: Diet Coke during the day. Beer or Gin&Tonic in the evening.

Long-Haul business class: Raid the bar!

Diet Coke. (UA's insistence on serving Diet Pepsi is one of my pet peeves.) Or, later in the day, white wine.

I like to drink Bloddy Marry's, Red Wine, or Baileys depending on what time of day it is.
