One of the most informative and useful post on FT. Thanks Vinnmann. I think it is Sticky worthy. Or at least in the FAQ.
Edited:
ExpertFlyer does not support DL award buckets (with the exception of E), but does support X/Z/V/G.

Just an addendum, YUL-CDG-YUL on AF almost always has availability in first and coach if you're almost out of options. Also, AZ only releases seats two at a time as of last summer.

vinnmann -- nothing yet
got the 3 weeks clearance today but I will not be taking the german class - so now I need to decide if I still want to go on the same dates.
I am still leaning toward flying into london on Virgin (the service was just too spectacular last time) and then driving or train'ing around europe... def. staying in london 6nights and berlin 6 nights but then split up 12 nights in other cities.
any suggestions are appreciated
*edit* I am going to put the VS on hold this weekend - don't want to lose this in case DL strike.
