Spray on hosiery?

I just read that spray on hosiery is a major seller in Singapore, Korea, Malaysia and Taiwan. Supposedly you spray it on and then wash it off later with soap and water (I gather it won't run in the rain if you need the soap.) I guess it's intended for hot climates, but if it's not flammable would certainly be good for flying. Anyone seen this? Tried it? Not available in fish net ... just the basic taupe, terra cotta, etc.

someone tried to sell me a similar product at macy's yesterday a "tinted moisturizer for your legs" is how she described it. But it lasted several days and supposedly needed a special loofah type scrub cloth to get it off..in any event I passed so I can't say...

OK, I guess I have a serious disconnect* here -

Spray On Hosiery?

Why?

If it's cold, legs in shoes and stockings.

If it's *not* cold, legs.

Edited for cold and hot

GG: Some jobs require hosiery. FAs have to wear it, which makes no sense as it will melt to their legs in a fire.

I suppose this is not too much different than getting your tan sprayed on, except I would guess this might come in black too.

I'm all for something that won't run.

That sounds rather nasty. I would think it would have to be difficult to spray on evenly, not to mention time consuming. It doesn't sound like it would be worth the trouble...with the exception of the "no runs" factor.
