Simple tip for check in when code share
I have a Delta ticket but flight is operated by WestJet. I have both the Delta and WJ confirmation numbers. I tried to check in on the Delta website using their confirmation number and it said I had to check in on the WJ website as the flight is operated by WJ. So I went to the WJ website and used the WJ confirmation number and it said I had to go to the Delta website to check in as the reservation is with them. Going in circles. So I called WJ and spoke to two different agents and gave all the info but they could not figure it out. Then I called Delta and they said to go to the WJ website but use the Delta confirmation number. It worked! I thought I would share as it is a simple solution but I missed it and the two WJ agents didn't suggest that either.
