Westjet video: 'Twas a Night Before Christmas

AC would be well advised to consider the benefits of creating "feel-good" consumer relations stories. Loved this video....pure PR genius, creative and brought smiles and happy tears to the faces of those involved and to many who have watched and shared it. Nurture warm feelings in the minds of leisure travellers and disappointed AC E35/50/75s, though I understand that Westjet doesn't meet the needs of many frequent travellers in this forum.

I would probably have asked for "World Peace". Wonder how they would have dealt with that one?

Oh my. That was incredible! Pure PR genius indeed. Well done WS and all WS employees who were involved!

Just for that I'm going to take a WS flight to make sure they get some business from me.

That was awesome - my cousin was one of the elfs at the screen in the blooper reel, and had a great time filming it.

Looks like a lot of people did ask for impossible things (such as the Bruins to win the cup), and had to be re-asked for another item.

Best line was where they lady asked for socks, and Santa said "You'll really wish you asked for a TV!"

Actually goes along with a contest and if they reach a certain amount of views they'll donate flights as well

Cute but I can't stand their seats and IFE and annoying fake cheerfulness.

If they changed the first two of those I might fly them again.

Just to clarify that the "fake" cheerfulness is actually not fake. It is genuine! It's a fun company to work for, we are treated extremely well, and we are getting paid to go to some great places! And when the staff are happy, it trickles down to the guests!

Agree that the video is a social marketing gem! It had thousands of views already! Well done Westjet! Back on your planes in the new year to YVR and the non-stop LAX flight from YEG. No US non-stops under our tree from AC

AC's Santa (Pere de noel or something) gives only 5% discount off future flight coupons. With a stern lecture, in both official languages
