To correct some information on here regarding someone's earlier post.... My contact at WestJet sent me a chart with the correct fare codes as follows:

Econo D, X, G, P, M

Flex L, Q, B, V, Y

Plus H, W, K

Using Worldspan to look at flight 113 from YXE to YYC on Apr 15, the availability is as follows:

NEUTRAL* 15APR-TU-357P YXEYYC ** **

Notice that H/W/K are at the end. This is in contrast to most airlines which list their availability in Premium Economy before Y.

In addition, R, S, and J are private fare codes / not available to the general public.

Wouldn't Flex serve the function of Premium Economy for WestJet? The list does start with Flex (and R, and U, which according to mattaw is a GDS package fare).

Which one is for Amex Platinum card holders? :-)

In practice, I would go by the rules on the ticket for penalties and ability to refund as opposed to relying on the chart above, especially if you have a Y class ticket.
