Hotels in SEA
Aloha from HNL! I would like to plan a trip to spend Thanksgiving in SEA and was wondering if I could get some help from my fellow FTalker's in regards to a recommendation for a hotel in SEA. I'd like to not top $200/nt and would like it to be walking distance to most places, or a short cab ride. It would be my first time to SEA and i'm interested in some of the museums, Pike Place Market of course, the waterfront and some shopping.
I'll wait to hear from y'all.
Thanks,
FlyboyHNL

Hello,
I'd recommend the Silver Cloud on Lake Union. All of the rooms have lake views and it's really quiet and peaceful. There is a streetcar that will take you to downtown and to the area around Pike's Place, though it's only a short walk. Parking is free as is breakfast. I've been there a few times and have really enjoyed it, specially the view of the lake.

I don't think you'll have any trouble getting a top downtown hotel for $200 - on Expedia, for example, the Hyatt is $199 a night for Wed-Sun over the holiday. The Kimpton properties (boutique-type, very nice) are even less.
You might also do very well with a low-ball-ish bid on PL for that period.
