There is a very nice Hampton Inn and Suites in Bremerton on the waterfront. Try to get one of the Jacuzzi tub suites overlooking the harbor. There is an adjacent Anthony's restaurant that usually has some very good and quite affordable early bird specials.
If passing through Sequim on the way to Port Angeles at lunch or dinner time, the Dockside Grill was one of the best meals I've had of late.
