Seems nobody else is going to put a thread in place so I will - and shamelessly steal penegal's words from his OP last year:

Over the years it has become a tradition to enjoy a Steak and a 'cold one' at the Breakfast Creek hotel before the annual airline "AGM" dos at Brisbane Airport.

This year is no exception. With some of us flying in from interstate there will be a few hire cars, so we should be able to get most/all of the group to/from Breaky Creek and back to the airport.

Was just discussing with Bundy Bear whether we should have a BBQ on the GC before we leave or do something in BNE... will there be anyone else on the GC heading north, as that could fit nicely with them too (there's already 4).

I have to say I'd be keen to help out, but it's a large double back journey... the car owner (not me) would not be too pleased about the fuel burn.

Interesting idea, it does preclude the BNE crowd, but a BBQ on the coast could be fun. My last couple of visits to Breaky Creek haven't seemed as good as the old days.
