Well I'd hope the airlines will still exist in the future, however I'm not about to guarantee that comment.

If we were to lose our "local contacts" and/or the airlines change their stance on the openness of us accessing the Lounges (whether by the "guesting" rules or by invitation of Management), then it may be necessary to have them off-site (ie. not at the airport). I'm sure that none of us want to have to use a boarding lounge or eatery seating as our meeting place.

Does that make it crystal??

3rd VA AGM, Sat 23 August 2014, BNE Dom Lounge

Might be time to think about setting a date for AGM #4, assuming we have it. We are probably not too far away from some sale type fares being available for the desired timeframe.

Yes, we spoke about it over the weekend in NZ. Whilst I flew VA both ways, it was Intl so I didn't have a chance to see our hostess. It's on my list of things to do this week. Likely to be 22nd August unless overruled by VA

Is something happening in BNE on that weekend? Cause all the flights down from CNS that arrive nicely for the AGM (Fri evening flights and morning Sat flight) are stupid expensive on VA (and everyone else)... Oddly enough it's stupid cheap on TT atm...

Can we please get a new thread once it's confirmed by VA as well ? I was just trying to work out how the AGM works - oddly, BNE based currently but looks like by the time the AGM happens I'm NSW based so also would need to fly in to attend - trying to work out if it's worthwhile as I've never been to one before.. (but reading the minutes of the last few were interesting)

Which flights have you booked ex Melbourne, there is a little event in Melbourne I might attend so a segment on VA might be in order.
