Vanguard Airlines Announces Service to Colorado Springs, Colo.
Vanguard Airlines, Inc. today announced the introduction of service to Colorado Springs, Colo., beginning December 20, 2001. The airline will offer two daily nonstop flights between Kansas City and Colorado Springs Airport. To kickoff the service, Vanguard is offering special introductory fares beginning at $49* each way.
``Colorado is a strong market for Vanguard, and we are pleased to introduce our second destination in the state,'' said Elizabeth Cattell, Senior Director of Marketing and Advertising for Vanguard Airlines. ``The Colorado Springs area is a growing region with a diverse economic base and wonderful recreation destinations. The area is underserved when it comes to air travel, and we are pleased to bring added service to the Colorado Springs Airport.''
