EXP Guaranteed Available Seats in Main Cabin
Anyone know how this EXP benefit works? I assume the fare is going to be full Y. Looking at a TATL flight next week that has C availability for SWU but no Y to book.

It means you pay a high rate (full Y most likely) AA bet not everyone shows; if everyone shows, they ask for volunteers, and if nobody does they get IDB.

It would probably be cheaper to just pay for business than full Y! Ha

I'd call in and ask how much it would be--I'd guess it'll cost less to buy C.
This benefit is more for when there isn't a single seat on the plane.

I didn't get a chance to call. Y opened up and I was able to book online. But I did buy full Y on this segment a while back since I needed a flexible one way ticket. It was not much more then I ended up paying. (H)
