Last US Airways 767-200 flight - Feb 12, 2015

UPDATE: Airlineroute.net states
US Airways has further revised planned scheduled Boeing 767-200ER final service. Based on latest schedule update, the oneWorld member now schedules last 767 flight on 12FEB15, with flight number US767. On 12FEB15, the 767 operates Philadelphia – Charlotte – Philadelphia route.

US767 PHL0900 – 1044CLT 767
US767 CLT1230 – 1405PHL 767

Planned last 767 scheduled service remain subject to change.
It looks like the last US Airways flight to be operated by a 767-200ER is coming up on Feb 11th and will be US1798 from CLT to PHL. Several Flyertalkers were on the last 737-400 service which got the special flight number of US737 and it was quite a nice little event.

I am going to look at possible routings at a reasonable price so I can attend. Is anyone else planning on booking on the last flight of the 767?

EDIT: More info on the last day of 767 flight can be found at http://airlineroute.net/2015/01/05/us-767-feb15update1/

Wow! I had no idea that US was so close to retiring this bird. Are there currently no transatlantic flights on the 767?

Very sad. My first ever flight was London Gatwick to CLT on a Piedmont 767-200, when my family moved from London to Charlotte. I instantly became hooked in flying after that flight. When I became a flight attendant, some of my first international flights were on a 767 to London, Frankfurt or Paris in the late 1990's and early 2000's. My final 767 flight as a F/A was last night, working GIG-CLT.

I will really miss the 767, the aircraft that began my fascination with aviation. After 27 years since my first 767 ride, it is time to say goodbye.

I am 100% going to be on the last 767 sector. I'm NYC based and east coast hub to hub running is very expensive so I haven't worked out what my routing will be yet. I have the day off so will likely run down to Florida for a day in the sun.

I was scheduled to be on a 767-200ER in December but the flight was downgauged to a 321.

Going to try and get on one of these birds before 2/11.

I know that US is flying a 767-200ER TA from PHL-FCO until February 4th. They will suspend this route for a month after that point and resume on March 4th with an A330-300.

When was flight 737 added to schedule last fall? The reason I ask, I wonder if they'll cycle the hubs again with a special flight 767.

Haven't checked prices yet, though I am interested in flying on the final flight. Would be cool to check out the J product before it gets sent to the desert.

Able to answer myself....it was announced 7/7 that there would be a special flight on 8/19 for the 734...so about a month and a half, and we're right at a month now so this may be the one.
