Where to go in May from LAX on US Airways miles?
My wife and I have about four days in May for a short vacation. We've got just over 25K miles each on US Airways, that have been sitting for maybe 10 years. We just can't figure out where to go.
Any ideas?
We thought about Vancouver, but that takes more than 25K, I think, since it's out of the country. New Orleans (never been)? Any other ideas that might be non-stop from LAX?

New Orleans is a good choice. Might want to think about DC or NYC too (although I don't think those are non-stop flights from LAX). You could also investigate using those miles (if they still exist) on UA.
(Finally, you posted this in the pre-merger forum. PM a mod to get this moved the combined US/HP forum where you'll get more input.)

Yup - I realized I blew it on the forum. Thanks for finding me!
I grew up in DC and lived in NYC for years. Great ideas, but I end up both places anyway, frequently.
In the end, I called and am using Star Alliance to spend $62.50 on each ticket to get to MSY. Hope it's fun.
By the way, I think these miles are SO old, that they predate the expiration rules. I suppose I could hang on to them, but they're not earning interest or anything. I'm using 25K to not pay for $220 tickets, but I'm paying $62.50, so I really am getting just over half a cent per mile. Pretty bad.
