Can husband and wife combine points in Dividend Miles?

Can a husband and wife combine their points in Dividend Miles program, and use those for award travel? My wife comes up short in her account, while I have some points to spare.

Thanks for the guidance on that.

Does anyone have any suggestions for my wife's account, which it is coming up 27 miles short of a 20,000 award? Will USAir round her account up to 20,000 to comp the 27 miles, or are there any fast and cheap ways to earn the 27 miles needed?

You can buy them from US Airways for $0.03 per mile, although there might be a minimum purchase amount.

- Take a quick flight purely for the miles. They'll post within 3 days.

- Idine - These may take a little bit longer to post but you get miles for eating out.

Good Luck!

2000-mile minimum, $25 surcharge. Cost you $85 minimum.

You could also rent a car or stay in a hotel. You can also transfer points into your DM account from such sources as Starwood, Ebay anything points, points.com, etc.

You could also buy something cheap through the Dividend Miles Shopping Mall.

You could also transfer Amex Membership Rewards points into her account.

You could also use points.com to transfer miles from another type of account, although the exchange rate is poor.

Best approach is surely iDine. Most restaurants award 10 miles to the $ so you are looking at a sandwich somewhere. And you get to eat the sandwich.

Not to quible, but...

I believe the wife and I took a trip a while back and used miles from both accounts. Not 100% sure, but I sem to recall something like this happening. The awards rep was VERY helpful (as always).
