Audience Rewards: What show did you buy?

So I probably jumped the gun on AR, since we have a few weeks to figure out whether the trivia counts, but what the heck.

I figured that we should keep a list of shows that people buy, just so we don't all buy the same show and create an empty arena. The cheapest show I saw was the Grand Poetry Slam in Charlotte, but I felt bad about doing that one (don't know why I felt bad about doing that one but not a different one) so for my first hit I did:

The Brass Connection, CLT, 9/25, $15+$3

Edited to add: If you are not going to use your ticket, please consider donating to the USO. Here is the info for the North Carolina USO. Remember to purchase a will-call ticket.

Edited to Add: The Brass Connection was cancelled for 9/25. Please see Post #137, which I would link to if I knew how.

Mike

Does your AR purchase show up right away? I bought a poetry slam ticket 30 minutes ago but it is not showing up in my AR account...

One thing I would caution -- there were issues last year with the activity date being the date of the show, not the date of purchase. It's probably safest to pick a show that's before the end of the GS promotion period.

Donating to the NC USO for Audience rewards tickets

Hi, I posted this in another forum, too. If you buy tickets that you aren't going to use, you can send them to [email protected] to be given to service men/women.

Mine isn't there either. Don't know the answer.

When do these guys credit? I seem to remember monthly, but I have been known to be wrong on occasion.

Will this work for tickets to shows anywhere, or only shows in NC?

Thanks. I believe that the USO is a registered 501c3, also.

LOL!

Poet 1: "Did you hear the show is standing room only?"
Poet 2: "Awesome!"

Cut to stage as poet 1 walks out to the sound of crickets....

I would guess only on NC.

A quick Google seach will connect you to a USO in the vicinity of the performance that you will unexpectedly miss.

And on behalf of those of us in the military, thanks for your donations! ^
