Not for the BOS-IAH ticket I bought this morning. Sheesh.

We could really use some nonstop competition on that route.

The fare increases are $5-$10. Not even sure why this article is in UA - it should be in TravelBuzz. Or not even noted at all.

(1) It's "about" United (2) Each small fare increase leads to another one. UA and the other carriers have learned that most pax don't notice such small increases but they add up over time (boiling frog analogy).

Fare increases of this nature are not about United. And I don't think the boiling frog analogy is even close - considering how these come and go depending on the other airlines.

Hey, I'm new here. Don't know where everything is on the site and what posts go where. Thanks for the direction, and sorry to upset people.

Second that. Just some people who choose to get upset for no reason. Welcome to FT OP.
