The drawback is the loss of the minimum mile perk. Anyone who flies routes like SEA/PDX-YVR, LGA/BOS-YYZ/YUL are getting hurt with that one.

Nice to finally see that we can get the extra 50% more for C/F tickets on *A carriers that aren't US-based or LH TATL. Hopefully, this will be a trend that continues, but I somehow doubt it.

Slightly OT, but now with AC and CO offering UA elites 500 miles minimum, why not US Air?

Wow, this is great news. The 100% RDM bonus for 1P/1K will definitely make me consider AC more for TPAC flights.

Having around canceled a ticket with them last spring, it's great to know that I'll be able to use the credit and get the double miles. As a side question - who do they let in the preferred seats, not *G I guess?

Sweet. Outside of DEQM, I could see myself attempting SFO-YVR-SYD on UA/AC. The W-buyup on UA is too expensive for me to use SWUs so I'd probably be flying in Economy on that route in UA anyway.

so now there are bonus RDM for UA elites for flights on UA/CO/LH/US and AC right?
I wish UA would not do starnet filtering, I would love to come back.

That's great!
Aeroplan recently notified their FF customers that they would be offering bonuses for UA and CO flights, so glad for the reciprocity.
IIRC, K, N, G, P, E, T fares are in Tango.

And since AC charges far less to carry a bike than UA... that just might impact my travel plans to France. Gets in the way of earning CR1s though.
Actually, if I fly AC SFO-CDG in July, and let's say buy a ticket in March, that pretty much guarantees that there will be a DEQM offer for May-June-July that's announced in April.

I think this is part of the JV they are part of with CO on TATL.
