PSA: By 31 Dec archive your 2007 Mileage Summary data

Friendly reminder ("public service announcement")to self archive your 2007 MP Mileage Summary data by 31 December 2008. United has traditionally only allowed online access to the present year and previous year. So on 1/1/2009, the 2007 data is likely not to be available.

I print to a PDF file but one can also save Web Page archive (*.mht for IExplorer). Or use your favorite screen saver sw.

Log in, go to Mileage Summary
http://travel.united.com/ube/core/us.../mpSummary.do?
Go to "View Account Details"
Set the "From" date to January 1 2007
Set the "To" date to December 31 2007
Print, save to PDF, or whatever your pleasure

Remember this is RDM detail data, not the true EQM detail data

Also will save your RDM balance, year to date EQM/EQS, and lifetime United BIS at that point in time

Depends on the OS and software you have. For a standard Windows PC you need to get a free PDF printer printer driver, such PDF995, PDFCreator, CutePDF, ....

Click print and .pdf should be one of the print options.

Cool. Thanks for the reminder. I backed it up. I'm actually a bit amazed at how many miles I've accumulated and spent over the last couple of years... man the things FT can cause

Nope. Any help? On XP laptop, wanting to save to .pdf, but no such choice in the print option.

For XP you need to install a free PDF printer driver (post #4) or save as a web page archive

Upgrades, too

I also use 12/31 as an opportunity to save the current year's Upgrade information, which is available only 1 year prior to today's date. So, on 12/31, save the 2007 mileage summary and the 2008 upgrade summary.

I find the "upgrade deposit" and "upgrade redemption" categories particularly interesting.
