Exclamation Consolidated "United Elite Status Fast Track Challenge" Thread [Merged]

Hi,

This is my first post. I used to be a United Premier back in college but lost my status 2 years back. I'm now working a new job and would like to qualify as a Premier again.

I have a question...is there anything like the American Airlines Platinum challenge with United anymore? I've found old threads from 2005 and would like to know if there's anything going on now.

In July I'll be flying almost every single day for two weeks, for a total of 22 EQSs. I have 12 YTD EQSs. Does this mean I won't qualify for Premier status? (I saw one page that said 30 EQSs were needed, another said 35). Even if I do qualify, is there some way 22 EQSs from July 15-27 could be rewarded above and beyond the usual?

I'd just hate to find out I'd missed some promotion or other.

The correct number is 30. Where did you see 35?

UA's website will give you the answer.

I understand that you can call Customer Service and ask for a Premier or Premier Executive status challenge, in which you have to fly 8000/15000 miles in 90 days and you can keep the status until Feb 2009. To keep status for the next year beyond Feb 2009, though, you still need to hit the regular 25,000 EQM/30 EQS or 50,000/50 targets.

No. It's been in effect ever since I started flying again - check when I registered with FT.

Can a 3P do a 1P Challenge?

I'm currently a 3P (sponsored by a 1K of course). Can I enroll in the 1P challenge? And if I do during July, will it be valid through 2/10?

Is that available to anyone, or do you have to show previous non-GM status.

I'll be flying 11,000EQM soon, so I might be able to do that

Actually, the status is only valid for 90 days unless you fly 50K.
