Flights often do make up time in the air, last time i did JFK-LAX we arrived 40 mins early. Your brother taking the next flight was going to be a tight connection, and they were just closing the door, so just a bit more time and he would have made it.

If i was in the same situation and i had 2 options, to stay in NY or take the later flight to LA and try to make the connection, i know what i'd be doing!

Yes... I'm the one who posted it to the wiki, based on a post by UA4EVER.

Note that posting info from the wiki to this thread is a bit circular, because the wiki tends to get updated based on postings from FT (and this thread in particular, though nothing "new" has been posted here for a while).

Thank you! Unbelievably, given my connection rate through ORD and DEN on the last flights of the night, I have had the good fortune to never need this so far, but I think it is one of the most important profiles to have on hand for a 1K.

I know it's hard to tell from these perennial threads, but the post you replied to is almost 2.5 years old. Also, since the poster you replied to is a 1P, he or she is a star alliance gold member, and thus RCC access on international itineraries is allowed, and two drink chits are provided at the transoceanic gateway (SFO in this case).

There are many threads about RCC access and drink chits for 1Ps and 1Ks flying internationally that you'd probably get a kick out of reading. The search function could help with that.

Only if you are flying F class or C class and have your codeshare boarding plus or print out reciept unless your reservation is under UA reservation then the agent can look the codeshare segment.

Just wanted to let everyone know that 8 new profiles were posted to the UA FlyerGuide wiki about 9 days ago, and 2 other profiles were updated. The author was anonymous and there are currently no references to "verify" the new profile texts, but given the specificity of the updates, I'll give the author the benefit of the doubt. (However, I would really like the author to PM me... I promise to keep your FT handle secret.)

There are still a lot of profile texts we don't have (listed in red on the linked page), but we're making headway thanks to our anonymous benefactor!
