He will replay if it is not nasty in nature. I have emailed with many times. Be prepared for a quick/short response.

Nothing,
It wasn't nasty BTW, at least Glenn Tilton had the courtesy to reply to the one email I sent.

It used to be [email protected]. I have sent him a few E mails in the past and he has answered them. He probably still has this and also now a UA address.

Sent him an email today about a speech he gave a while ago at Stanford, got a thank you response! Nice to see he hasn't lost touch with the customers. Cool guy.

Just because he responded to you doesn't make him a cool guy. He probably only responded because your email was the first non-complaint email he's seen in, well, ages...

Guest speakers are generally quite appreciative of their audiences enjoying their talks. Besides, who would email a guest speaker telling him his speech sucked? Gotta be pretty cruel to do that...

Please, 'co-worker' is a new United buzz word, no more, no less Make no mistake; he has no delusions of being anywhere but above us co-widgets.

An effective leader leads by example. This is not in Smisek's play book, trust me on that. He sets no good example for the employees.

Just because Smisek sucks up to someone when they praise him, it's not an indication of a good officer of the company, no different than when a pilot does a jovial PA or turns CH 9 on, it doesn't make him a great pilot. If he lands smoooothly 3,100 feet down a 16,000 foot runway, everyone thinks he did a great landing, but he didn't.

Smisek has to be a schmoozer, just like he has to have a few sociopathic
characteristics.
