United Retro Terms
In light of all these retro paint schemes, it got me to thinking of all the "old" things that were associated with United at some point:
- HK50 upgrade
- Conissieur Class
- Sweet Spot Upgrade
- United Connection
List some more!

"This is Dick Enberg and Merlin Olsen saying goodbye from Mile High Stadium, where the Broncos have prevailed once again, defeating the Chiefs 17-10..."
(Cut to an aerial shot of a UA widebody in that horrible old orange and blue livery) "A promotional fee has been paid to NBC by United Airlines. United flies to more desitnations than any other carrier in the free world. You're not just flying; you're flying the Friendly Skies"

The red stamp on your paper ticket (to indicate you have checked in).
Paper upgrades delivered in your monthly mileage statement.
The rubbery chicken meal served in coach with the Ken's steakhouse lite Caesar salad dressing (best part of the meal).
Double upgrades (from coach to business to first). Actually not sure, does UA allow that anymore?

727s...
I was in Chicago a couple of weekends ago and saw the 727-100 at the Museum of Science and Industry.
I also think it's kind of strange that my status that my status shows up as "100K Flyer" on boarding passes and emailed itineraries.

Tier bonuses (UA deposited 10,000 extra miles in your account after you flew 35K, 45K, 55K, etc).
