New Saks kits are coming. Polaris First appears to retain a separate bag. We'll see about quality, but the design looks a notch or two more upscale than previous kits.

Those look sweet. Fingers crossed for UA2 this week.

I'm guessing the middle one (draw string pouch) is for the transcon, and the white/black ones are for C and F (can't tell which one is for which)?

Great is an exaggeration. Certainly they are nicer than the horrid metal boxes that were handed out to promote the corrupt IOC errr 2016 Olympics. And better than the cheapo small grey kits that were used for some time. But they look way too bulky in the photos - bigger than my dopp kitt.

Personally I prefer the nice brown leather cases or even the LH cases both of which are thinner and rectangular and thus (1) easier to take home and (2) suitable for many uses including pill bottles etc.

Will withhold judgment until actually getting one, but it certainly appears to be a step in the right direction.

These look actually very nice.

Why do we have a white and a black one? Perhaps for the few remaining GF flights I assume.

Also - is there a reason why that little amenity kit is only given out on PS flights between east and west coast? I always thought it's odd that no kits are provided on HI flights. Is there a reason for that? besides greed.

EDIT: Looks like the kits are now provided on flights to HNL, does this include LAX/SFO - HNL? Or is that not considered long haul?

Not long enough for UACO to consider as "long haul" - i.e. cost too much given the number of flights from those cities.
