Had some (ironically) flying EDI EWR yesterday. I was quite impressed. One thing I was scared of, is that the BF menu does not list Buffalo Trace as being available, though the July 1 edition of Hemispheres does. I'm guessing just an error on the menu and BT isn't beind replaced. One thing I truly don't get is how many whiskeys they still DO keep available. I count 5 (Jack, Jim DC, Dewers, BT, GF), wait is CC in there too? Why don't they ditch CC, and Jim DC and get a decent tequila and another cordial or something. Just doesn't make sense to have so many whiskeys.

Glenfarclas on UA179 & UA180 (EWR-HKG-EWR)

I was told by the FA that 10 were loaded on the EWR outbound. I snagged just 2 on the outbound but quickly corralled 4 on the return last Sunday.

Glenfarclas is indeed a serious improvement over Dewers and a nice upgrade.

^^ United!

Asked for some in BF on EWR-NRT last week -- FA had no idea what I was talking about and gave me Buffalo Trace instead.... Oh well.

Have to figure they over-stock the LAS flights. My FA has no idea what I was referring to SFO > ORD yesterday.

Thank the lord! It's about time. I really thought they were going to choose Glenfidditch when they did the Glenfidditch tastings in the UCs.

I've seen Glenfarclas in local liquor stores but never tasted - guess I'll have to go get a bottle now. Do we know if it'll be 10 or 12 year?

10 or 12 both are better then what was.

Several have posted having it. Maybe they could report.

My bet is 10. Would be happy to be wrong.

You're absolutely right! Not trying to be picky but curious.
