Issuing/Marketing/Operating Carrier for RW Tickets
I posted this question in the "Star Alliance" forum, but did not get an answer.
I want to start a RW ticket in Japan. The first flight is on Thai. I called United and they insisted that this ticket can only be issued on the the "first flight airline". There ARE United flights on the itinerary.
Is this correct? I remember seeing a similar discussion here, albeit not for RW tickets.
(yes, I spoke with different agents, same response)
