Ticketing on UA.COM?
I'm trying to get an itinerary from ITA to show on United.com but not having much luck. I have a total of 8 legs in the entire roundtrip itinerary and was wondering if there is a method or trick to force specific flights to appear or some way this can be booked online on UA's website?
Flights are a combo of LH, UA, LX and SK

Force as much as you can using hipmunk, then hold and call in to make the changes you want.
Sucks we're forced to do this in 2014 instead of just telling UA's website the flights we want.

Ticketing on UA.COM?
UAs site, short of the award search trick, often doesn't show partner segments except as UA codeshares. And if the UA codeshares don't exist, they often just won't show up at all. This is my experience, anyway. UA also has a weird habit of not showing perfectly valid flight sometimes - it's weird that way.
If you post what you are trying to get, it might be easier for someone to give a better answer. However, It's probably easier, given the mix of partners you want to use, to get a travel agent or OTA to get what you want. However, calling UA reservations and feeding the agents the flights you want might work, too, but note you'll have to pay the phone booking fee.
