Encountered Strange Glitch

Went in to change an award ticket and was brought to this screen:

Was shown over 50 flights and over 100 passengers. Didn't bother trying going any further. Went back to My Account and clicked Change Flight and everything was back to normal.

I hope this doesn't happen often, as someone may be able to edit flights for unsuspecting passengers.

I can't seem to find the thread now, but this happened to someone else recently. I'll post the link if I am able to find it.

This instance seems to be on a whole other scale from the past events.

Must be nice having that many "friends!"^

PS. I have been having problems with changing flights this past week...not sure if it is long term or just a recent glitch.

Hahahahahahahahaha. This is just fantastic, a great thread with which to end the week.

And now we know why "Consolidated Check Your Itineraries" thread will always have a home on FT as you could have people trying to change an award ticket and unwittingly re-routing you to Tajikistan for fun.

You know what this is scary - what would have happened if this was someone who thought it be "fun" to mess around with itineraries and check all of the boxes? Would it have allowed to move flights around? What a huge cluster fudge.

SHARES is dangerous for the flying public. For many, many reasons, but that's what the infamous SMI/J chose to run his new company. There is no fixing it in the time we have left on this earth. Can you say Dynamic Pricing? Scary, and you should be scared.

What's really weird is that the math actually works - the amounts on the top are for 141 pax and then the cost on the total line at the bottom is for a single ticket.
