Yeah, it was nice to find three seats (the outbound flights were R6, the returns R3). The only drawback is that our fare class is not eligible for free food on the Brussels Airlines flights, but food in LH economy is not anything to write home about.

a read of Upgrades overview and Global Premier Upgrades should arm you with the information you need.
I am a GS. Can anyone comment on their success rate when wait listed as a GS using. GPU? Will my kids benefit from this status?

If on same PNR / you are traveling with them -- calling helps for GS companions if the GS has cleared.
