Wanted to jump in here and let you know that we are indeed looking ahead to an announcement about new reward opportunities for MileagePlus members—over and above what you’ve seen already this week. I’ll ask that you sit tight for the next few days, but rest assured you can expect full details from me the minute we go live. And while I know you’ll give us honest feedback (as always), I do believe this is something to look forward to :-).

New rewards experience coming
Looking forward to some more "changes I'll like."
Really hoping this just ends up being an additional way to redeem miles for non-travel stuff, not a devaluation of the award chart. Anyone have any more info?

Just saw the tweet. Sounds very ominous. Doesn't say or imply that the experience will be a good one...

The news is being released on a Friday. You do the math.
I'd bet that this is the final devaluation of Mileage Plus into a clone of SkyPesos

Somehow they'll add more fee's, increase redemptions, and make it more tedious to use miles.

I truly expect something bad too that they'll *try* to spin as an enhancement, but we'll all know truly isn't...I'll be prepared to eat crow though if this is not the case, just too conditioned at this point
