low level award search

just a quick question. new to united/star alliance awards. is searching united.com like searching delta.com? where none of the partner airlines come up in the search? or is it fairly comprehensive and reliable to just use united.com? thanks

UA is quite a bit more reliable than the Delta site in terms of partners. The calendar isn't perfect and not all connections are necessarily shown every time but it is pretty darn good.

Yeah def. a pretty good search engine but not comprehensive of all flights possible. ANA and Air Canada are also good sites to use.

Its like NIGHT and DAY.

There is no comparison between delta's award search and CO's engine.

All partners (except BR/ZH/9W) are shown online, and there is no stupid 3 tier system - its either available, or costs double.
