I've had a bad habit of downloading films to my laptop or Kindle every month and then boarding the plane to see they're offered on the Direct TV equipped flights. I'd really appreciate it if someone who has already flown this month could tell me what movies are being shown with Direct TV this month. I looked on United's entertainment info but I don't see the Direct TV flight movie offerings.

Seriously? NO ONE knows the DTV March movies? They're not in the magazine or online- they're only in people's heads. Again, I'd greatly appreciate knowing what the movies are before I leave for the airport in the morning. They're the ones that are on Direct TV, mostly 737-900s have these, and some 737-800s too. They have a channel line up and then pre-set movies.
I have 2 flights tomorrow & would love to know what the films are so I don't buy them for laptop or Kindle. But now if it was Hobbit or Les Mis, I'm out of luck.
Maybe someone will see this after coming home on a DTV equipped flight? Just wish United would list the films they show with Direct TV.

There's also Cloud Atlas, Lincoln, and Hitchcock. Possibly somethng else I don't remember.

Not sure if this is new or not (I have not seen it before) but there is now a full listing of the AVOD movies on the United Inflight Entertainment page

This is great. Never fail, I load my ipad up with movies that are already playing on my trip. Now if we can also have a list of the the pre-loaded movies that play on the 737s with DirectTV?

Now if they could only publish them ahead of time. July is a week away, but they're still only showing May and June. As soon as I purchase a bunch of iTunes movies, of course that's what will be playing. And not just new films, last time it was To Kill a Mockingbird! I'm jinxed.
