Got an e-mail today from UA offering miles if I buy some wine. Got an e-mail from UA today offering to use my miles for other kinds of products. But I didn't get this offer
So I went directly to the sign up link. According to UA, my 1K MP account says "According to our records, you are not eligible to participate in this promotion." Seriously UA, since 3/3 you revel in finding new ways to piss off your most loyal customers!
That's OK, because AA happily status matched me today as a EXPLAT for free. I haven't flown with them in more than 20 years. Guess it's time to see what they have to offer.

Got this as well today. Don't know if I'll get any of them though. Do have two trips, but they were booked long ago....

What I find extremely interesting is that the promo limits ticketing date. That is an extremely pmUA thing. In the months leading up to the merger all the promos that had UA and CO counterparts were more lenient on the CO side. Considering that everything post merger is pretty much pmCO (website, SHARES, etc), it's annoying that this is the one pmUA thing that survived

1K here with 80K miles in 3 months (though was 1K lite for past 2 yrs on leisure/personal travel). Got the 2/3/5 for 5/10/25 offer.

I got the email, 4 for 25K, registered then realized the way things are going there's about a 0% chance of UA not effing this all up and never posting the miles.

Any1 know if I have to book the ticket from UA.com to qualify for this promo?
It seems it's okay to buy such tickets from Expedia, Priceline,etc, according to the T&C.
Is there anyone here who participated in a similar UA promotions before? If so, could you confirm if a ticket bought from Priceline will still qualify for such promotion?

UA needs to be clear if flights that were booked prior to the emails going out are eligible for the bonus miles. A friend registered that does not have any status and was accepted for the mile bonus.

Got the 1/2/4 offers on both accounts in the family.
United nobody here. But I do have $$$$ UA voucher and CO e-Cert to burn before October. Too bad the deadline is Jul 15. Would be a little bit hard to squeeze 4 r/t between late May and Mid Jul, because we would be leaving town this Saturday for a Transatlantic cruise followed by 2 weeks in Europe.
If they have good fare IAD-MIA, or IAH-FLL I may do it.
Just looked up the offer in United website under airline - the offer was there effective April 9th! And the emails just came today April 26th?! Very efficient, United!
