Thanks for starting the thread for 2012 ushuaia. There is also talk of TK expanding in India. BTW, still no news about Manila the TK office is up and running, so they should start in 2012. Also looking forward to EZE as a tag on to GRU?

Regarding Incredible India..

In 2009, TK administration verbally declared that they were preparing flights to 4 points in India; most probably Hyderabad, Chennai (Madras), Kolkata (Calcutta), Bangalore. But no more action was taken afterwards...

and also for Manila.. Still waiting..

Some indication to TK's possible future plans for "Incredible India":

Anyway, expanding the network in such turbulent times needs a lot of caution

If they are going to compete with the gulf carriers they should have a good longterm strategy. Still waiting for new widebody orders.

That would definitely get onto a TK flight at last. (Mainly because of the connections to ROR, GUM, and TKK).

Novosibirsk flights, February 2012

One of TK's movements in Russia is to start flight to Novosibirsk, the capital of Siberia. TK Director of Russia Office, Mr Mefail Deribas says they want to start flights latest on February 2012. They also want to increase the Russian destinations from 8 to 10.

Most probably the next points will be Omsk and Samara..

Flight to ULN from Europe with narrow body is quite a long trip. Although I have done that with SU's Tu-154 and OM's 727 (to/from Moscow), it was not fun (especially we could not get out at Novosibirisk).

Merhaba,

Just a reminder that FT has no place for posts with pointed ethnic or racial comments, and that political issues are discussed in OMNI P/R. Posts with this type of content will be summarily deleted.

Teşekkür ederim / Thanks,
