MNL BKK IKA rt TG in Y
Miascor lounge in MNLt1 and their consistently crappy food. Free access with rcbc platinum.
at least there is a view.
lively colors on the inside of this fairly old 777.
not nc of course but at least its loud enough for movie watching.
food is actually pretty tasty. thai flavors overcome any altitude effects on taste senssitivity.
air france lounge at BKK. decent food and booze. no champagne but the cava or prosecco they had was very good quality.
back on the plane
TG uses the smaller 777 variant for BKK IKA. Y seats recline less and the bottom part does not slide forward.
food is good.
J cabin
Visa on arrival at IKA. buy insurance, USD16, pay visa USD65, fill up form, submit and wait. takes about 45 mins.
barbari baked on smalk stones, customers remove stones before leaving the shop.
did so much driving. traversed the alborz, stayed in baladeh, then went to the caspian sea.
it gets green in the mountain side nearer the caspian.
mosque
persians are very friendly and hospitable, helps to have a local contact though and an interpreter to help with cultural learnings of which i had a lot.
