Tour of Swiss First Class Lounge in Zurich Terminal E

I had a long layover on a quiet morning in Swiss' Zurich Terminal E First Class Lounge. For Swiss' operation, the lounge is more than sufficient and since most of the country was still in vacation, the lounge was quiet and the agent was able to offer me a dayroom too.

I hope you will enjoy the pictures!

Thanks for this great report. Haven't been through ZRH for a couple of years is this where the Panorama lounge was located or is it totally new?

Terrace was closed today
Even when it is sunny outside, the terrace is often closed, both for the Business Class Lounge, First Class Lounge and the special Lounge, open to Swiss F pax with a United ticket number.

If you redeem a First Class award on Swiss with A3 miles (if that is even possible), you won't be able to access the First Class lounge at ZRH.
If you have read my reply carefully, you will know why.

Officially First Class awards are only available to M&M Senators and HON Circle members, though upgrades to First with miles (and possibly cash) are possible by anybody. It is of course possible to purchase First Class tickets on LX.

If you're referring to the LX-issued ticket rule, that is not routinely enforced.

... but still, there will be a chance you get an embarrassing denial at the F Lounge entrance, if the ticket has not been issued by LX/LH (e.g. upgrade on an A3-issued ticket). What a great way to experience the Swiss F product.

A3 customer service unfortunately told me it's not possible to get a F award on LX with their program.
