You went in October? Was it very hot and humid or OK?
I went in November (sorry for the very delayed reply). It was hot, but not at all humid. Most of the country (other than the upper northeast Caprivi strip) is a very dry desert, with extremely little rain fall.

Thanks Daniel. Your recent trip report reminded me of this trip, and how I had neglected to reply to all the posts here. Looks like your trip was amazing too (especially that helicopter tour). Your trip reports are always the gold standard here (and I especially enjoy the interesting places that you visit).
