Singapore Airlines SQ 322 Singapore to London and SQ 305 London to Singapore in Econ

Flew to London and back on a working trip recently, not in Business but in Economy.

Had a window seat.

Problem with this flight was that my seat's Krisworld didn't work. Yeah, it didn't work. A 13 hour flight. It was working for the pax around me. It was a full flight.

Inflight supervisor tried his best to fix the system but it refused to co-operate. Fortunately he could manually run a movie for me but it was still very difficult. And I didn't have access to the flight path.

Ultimately, he gave me a $75 voucher to spend on Kris-shop.

Oh well, I guess I slept a lot more during this red-eye flight. Fortunately I could sleep!

Here is the flight video. Check out the faulty Krisworld in-flight entertainment system.

Nice video, I normally only take pictures instead of video's but maybe I should also do a video instead on my next flight.

By the way; they serve cocktails in economy on SQ?

Singapore slings and a few other mixers. I feel SQ treats its Y paxs well in the food and drinks department.

This was the return flight, from London to Singapore, SQ 305. This was Heathrow Terminal 3, though I understand SQ would have moved to Terminal 2 by now. I guess this would be the last time I use Heathrow T3 on SQ!

Had a bite at the Italian restaurant Strada in the transit area before the flight. Good beef burger and a pint of Italian beer.

When I flew to London, the Krisworld system wasn't working. This time round, fortunately it worked, and I could see the flight path. Looked like the plane headed to Moscow!

I also used the krisshop voucher to buy something from the kris-shop.

Total flight time was 12hr 20min. I think in the past, flight time was about 12hours. So the flight takes longer now, since the plane is avoiding Ukraine completely.

Check out the video and blog page.
