Well, I guess you realise that your trip will not be in the linear fashion you have drawn, from the farthest tip of one country to the nearest tip of the next. Instead the economical way will be to fly between hubs and radiate out and back from each one.

Well that drawing is far away from being precise, wait for a new version.
But first i will go to greenland anyway!
Maybe somebody is interested in joining me for this trip?
You would need to be an experienced hiker though and it would be great if you would also know how to manage a camera. And you need to be cool of course!

I hope you realize that around-the-world air tickets, which would likely be the best way for you to do this trip, only are valid for one year maximum.

I would suggest that if you're really going to spend a year traveling, to not try to plan too much of it ahead of time. Draw your line around the globe at least in pencil.

I think it's a cool route...glad you included the Stans! I also recommend Iceland which is an amazing place for hiking (and hot springs!). Think about spending some time in Southern China which is cheap and super chill place for trekking, various ethnicities, Buddhist and Taoist stuff, etc. Shangrila area is a taste of Tibet minus all the gubermint nonsense and permits, Yunnan has great hiking, Chengdu is really nice as well and just amazing food. If you find yourself enjoying Northern Thailand/Laos it's easy enough to do more of the same in southern China, and at a budget.
Also, East coast of US is okayyy (don't miss NYC obviously, DC would probably be interesting to you, and FL as well) but the West has sooo much amazing beauty. Think about a jaunt out there too.
Have fun planning, that's a huge part of the enjoyment
