Bukhara is slowly slipping down my list of favorite Indian restaurants - the raan seems to have become a little bland. Speaking of which, if you're ever in London, give Cinnamon Club a shot. Innovative take on Indian food - their lamb entrees are usually excellent (not quite raan, but full of flavor).
I'm not sure that Bukhara is what it once was, but I have to say the Raan this time around was better than I ever recall. And thanks for the Cinnamon Club tip - will be in London this summer and have added it to the list!

perhaps someone else can explain why Venezuelan chocolate is a specialty on a FRA-ZRH flight?

You asked about the Venezuelan chocolate. Its from Fassbender & Rausch (German chocolatier) from their plantation collection with cocoa from around the world. Good stuff. I recognized it immediately.

What a great, great read. I never thought I would find someone else who make these adventurous decisions. Just recently bought a ticket for the World Cup final next year in Aus. and yes have made NO other arrangements yet, Mrs. Flyingrhino not impressed. Excellent stuff.
