Looking forward to your report on LH First...
One question:
I thought the new business seat was fully-flat. However, in your "bed" photos the seat still looks angled. Am I missing something?

I wondered this too. The angle looks much too steep for comfortable sleep. Even UA has flatbed biz seats now......

Many thanks for that. Catering on LH first looks superb, however the J catering not so much.

Disappointed to read that a lot of people's fears about the design of the J seat have materialised. I.e. sleeping and privacy is an epic fail. I mean sleeping on the side either my knees or buttocks will touch the neighbour!?

4 windows in the nose of the 747 is fantastic!

Nice reports and photos. Thanks for sharing them. Surprised that LH didn't do better with the new business class product.

Thanks for sharing.

J looks as bad as I was expecting. So I'll only use F on LH as before then!

From the pictures it seems that the J seats would be quite awkward at times when you dont know your seatmate; do the seats really fold TOWARDS each other? Very strange LH!

Wow! What a brilliant TR!!! I'm glad you had a great flight and more enjoyable. You're lucky that you flew on new 748I. It's look so beautiful.

Thank you for the great info - as a BA flyer I am very envious that LH are getting new 747-800s.

Unfortunately, the J class seating looks terrible. OK so the pillows and cabin look good that seat doesn't look at all private.

The F class actually looks vey nice in all respects.

Nice job ^

Has anyone had experienced both the 747-800 and the new F (with separate bed and chair) on the 747-400? which one is better?
