Tracking hotel costs to find discounts
We all know that hotel room prices can vary, sometimes day to day. We have all reserved a room for a certain price only to check and find that the cost has gone up or down for new reservations.
We can use some websites to track airfare changes.
Is there a website that tracks changes in hotel room prices? For example, I reserve a Queen studio room at the Scrooge hotel in Baltimore for $140 a night. Is there a site that will notify me if the price drops so I can cancel and re-book at a lower cost?
Yapta seems to have one for corporate types but nothing for the casual traveler.
