Historical Airline Logo ?

Hi,

I found some old logo in the attic of my parents. It looks a bit like an airline logo, but I wasn`t able to find the logo ?

Has anyone seen it before ?

Don't think it's Eastern. This was Eastern's logo.

Eastern? Somewhat reminiscent, but not.

I noticed your location is listed as Freiburg, presumably in Germany.

Where do your parents live? Have they been there long? Where have they traveled? The answers to these may provide a few more clues...

My parents bought it on a flea market near Dusseldorf in the late 1980s till early 1990s. During this time they lived in Grevenbroich.

Kinda looks like a stylized version of the Austrian logo.

There's a chance this might also be a pin from a regional air force or air command...

Looks like it could be an automobile logo. A lot of companies used to show wings on vehicles meaning they could "fly" as in going at high speed.

For some reason it looks really familiar, but for the life of me I cant place it. I agree with Teddybear99 - I think it is a car logo, something from the 50's/60's era.

Looks very similar to the Turkish Airlines logo although the Turkish airlines logo has always had curves in it, so that's not it.

Looks like a logo for UAZ, a Russian car and truck company.

I think that is it! Makes sense with the way the hole is in the back, too.

I was about to say... it also looks like the hands of a clock. Looks like it could fit as a logo for some sort of watchmaker?
