pee stain detector UV flashlight freaked me out in airplane lavatories and hotel room
I bought a small UV flashlight (a.k.a. pee stain detector) from
Amazon when they had it on sale for $4.99(with free 2-day
Prime shipping)
This one: (note: this is not an endorsement or offer to
sell this product.... proceed at your own risk)
It was the worst decision I've ever made. I bring it with me when I fly
and airplane lavatories scared the crap out of me. Holy cow... do people
now know how to aim? What scared me even more was the there were
pee stains on the sink and area around it. Do guys pee into the lavatory
sinks? Now I bring disposable gloves when I fly so I can avoid touching
any surface inside the lavatory. Now I know what it feels like to be
Howie Mendell.
The pee stain detector also caused many sleepless nights in hotels.
I've seen pee stains on beds, couches, desks, corners, toilet tank,
bath tubs, coat hangers, windows.... and once even inside the minibar
refrigerator!!!!!

occupant. The only pee stains I've discovered were outside.
It's near the patios where the deers come around in the
evening.... (and possibly the neighbor's two cats, although
they usually have the courtesy to bury the stuff in my flower
bed)
I am either a German or Jack Nicolson(in "About Schmidt"
because I have been sitting down to pee for the last 40 years.
The only time I stand and pee is at public restroom urinals.
I never thought I'd be putting these words in one sentence:
German court rules on men's right to pee standing up.

Check the $1 bills. When I used to work at the gas station, I have seen people pull bills out of their bras, underwear, socks, etc... They would be wet and I have to count them. Credit cards are not safe either because right after I counted the wet and sticky bills, someone would hand me a credit card.
The best course of action is the put that UV light into the trash because ignorance is a bliss!

Wasn't there a program(60 Minute?) that tested $20/$100 bills and found
that over 75% them had traces of illegal drugs such as cocaine?
I wonder how much cocaine can be extracted if I have a couple million
dollars in $100 bills. (well, I have to get a couple million dollars
in cash first )

(didn't want to bring it up because I want to keep this thread PG-13)
I have seen some hotel beds that looked like an adult video
was just shot there.

Urine is quite clean. Most of us today find the thought of touching it a bit off-putting, but that's for cultural reasons and because of other stuff that goes on in locations where we typically urinate. Eskimos used it to wash their hands. For centuries doctors would taste their patients' urine as a diagnostic tool; we have better methods of diagnosis now, but it didn't make them sick. Pediatricians get sprayed with the stuff all the time when they examine infant boys and forget momentarily to hold things down. (My older son treated his pediatrician that way about 45 years ago. No long-term effects on either.) Maybe we should worry about some fluids we might come in contact with, but urine? No big deal.

In healthy people, urine is sterile. In the past, urine was collected and used to remove dirt and oil from fibers, particularly wool. If your family name was Cooper they probably made barrels. If your family name was Fuller, well, the work wasn't glamorous.
