If you're going to the Hobbit premiere, you can get into the mood by watching Air New Zealand's new safety video. You'll probably see it on board if you fly with them, but earlier posts in this thread suggest that you might not.
(The video is highly recommended for those who aren't going to the premiere, too.)

The "official" release date is December 17 so the NZ event is a pre-release special event (worth attending!):

Im not booking flights until I have movie tickets confirmed. Last year we flew to Christchurch for the movie, this year will be Auckland.
