Any airlines known for reasonable business class fares?

Scoot's business class is indeed cheap, but it's nowhere near lie-flat: their own website boasts of a luxurious 8" (20cm) of recline.

Don't their international long-hauls use 777-300's? I know Aeroflot has historically had a lot of hull losses on domestic flights, but I'm not aware of any safety issue with the routes we're talking about here: using SVO as a one-stop to Asia entirely on Boeing (or perhaps Airbus) equipment.

I get ads all the time for Iceland Air and Aer Lingus, but the focus is always TATL.
A couple years ago I priced some Middle East to India/Nepal fares and noticed Gulf Air was always coming up cheapest in J. I was weighing award vs. paid and coach vs. J. But reading here and elsewhere, there were a lot of concerns about Gulf Air. Looks like you could do one-stop London-BKK through Bahrain.

When I flew with them to BKK, they had an awful who-knows-what angle configuration.
Though, since I liked their catering, I'd try them again on their A340s.

and the lounge, while it looks snazzy and has good food, is 80% overpopulated at all times of the day
imo, its a discount premium carrier. (but that doesnt stop me from flying it)
